How to increase your player level as quickly as possible?
Your player level (called your experience level) goes up as you earn Experience (XP) — the resource that levels up your player profile. You earn it by playing through the game's stages and winning battles, which costs World Energy. World Energy replenishes with time or you can fill them with a World Energy flask. So the fastest route is simple: keep your World Energy working for you and spend it consistently rather than letting it sit full.
Player Level vs. Hero Level
These are two different systems:
- Player (experience) level — your overall account level. Raised by earning Experience.
- Hero level — raised separately by upgrading heroes. Leveling heroes does not raise your player level.
Why Your Player Level Matters
Every time your experience level goes up, the game rewards you on the battle results screen with upgrades that make everything else easier:
- Higher Maximum World Energy (so you can play more)
- Higher Maximum Hero Capacity (bigger roster)
- Higher Maximum Hero Team Cost
- Resources — Food, Iron, and Gems
- Recruits
- A Tome of Experience Bonus
It also unlocks features as you climb — several modes become available at specific experience levels as mentioned above so you can get the full experience.
What To Do First (New Players)
1. Spend World Energy regularly. XP comes from playing story or quest stages, so don't leave energy sitting at full — that's wasted progress.
2. Build and upgrade your base so you have the Food, Iron, and Recruits to keep training and progressing.
3. Push forward through the campaign rather than over-replaying the very earliest stages.
Common Mistakes
- Confusing hero level with player level — feeding heroes won't raise your experience level.
- Letting World Energy cap out — energy sitting full is XP you're not earning.
Quick FAQ
Q: Is player level the same as hero level?
A: No — they're separate. Player experience level is your account level; hero level is per-hero.
Q: What do I get for leveling up?
A: More Maximum World Energy, bigger Hero Capacity and Team Cost, plus Resources, Recruits, and a Tome of Experience Bonus.
Final Tip
The single biggest lever is consistency: log in, spend your World Energy on stages, and keep your base producing resources. Steady play is what moves your experience level fastest.
