Raid Tactics Spring Forward
KUN PÅ NETT: Hent gave!

Springtime is a season of renewal, offering us all a chance to break out of cozy old habits and embrace growth. Recently, we’ve observed patterns repeating in PvP that threaten to become routine if left unchecked. A recipe for guaranteed success without skill, creativity, and luck turns out bland and lifeless, so we’re making a series of adjustments to open up your options for effective teams and realize the potential stored in your rosters. At the same time, we’re delivering a batch of improvements in Dragonspire to energize your Dragon Raids too!
Facing the same lineups of heroes over and over takes the fun and imagination out of Raids, and every player deserves a chance to find a challenge that suits their Heroes and play style. To enable greater variety in PvP tactics, we’re boosting and tuning several mechanics, bonuses, and Hero Families. We’re also making targeted adjustments to a few select Heroes so they won’t be quite so dominant on the leaderboards and can specialize more in their signature effects.
Players who’ve been reliant on limit broken copies of these Heroes will receive a gift pack to help them develop a wider spread of tactical options. Because there are so many more changes included in this update, ALL PLAYERS will get some goodies to get familiar with the latest battlefield conditions. We’ve even convinced the Hero Coach to offer an extra training session to jump start unlocking the potential in your roster!
Lane and Duval, released as a preview of the upcoming Shady Scoundrels Family, have proven popular in Raids, but they could land closer to the vision of expert thieves. The Ransack passive skill will now target effects that make sense to be stolen, and will be guaranteed to trigger – no more 50% chance! Becoming better thieves will make them less dependent on the attack stacks from their Family Bonus and more focused on their specialty.
A couple of Heroes that we’ve heard players wish were more powerful are getting some attention in this update too. Auberguy, the naughty nightshade from the Valiant Vegetables Family, is fluffing up his special skill so it’s worth waiting for him to charge. Now his attacks will hit harder and drain even more health and defense! We’ll top off his update with buffs to all 3 stats. Gitnib has been the runt of the Wild Cat litter since release, so we’re bringing their power in line with the rest of the family. Some stat boosts will aid survivability, while their fiends now drain more of the enemies’ health and their delayed damage backlash cuts even deeper!
Salome and Haradea, from the Astral Demons Family, have made a name for themselves as unusually versatile Heroes. Now it’s time for them to focus on a specialty. Salome will continue as a fiend counter and step up as a primary healer, with Astral Beam being a secondary bonus effect. Haradea will similarly concentrate on her key anti-mana role by increasing mana-based max damage and powering up her mana corruption effect, and toning down Resonance.
Ustad Anand has been outstanding among the Mahayoddha Heroes, with a power level that’s clearly out of alignment with the rest of the family. The direct damage from his attack will be tuned to land in the range for recently released Heroes. All other members of the family will receive buffs to their stats and special skills to rise up to Ustad Anand’s level. Meanwhile, the Growth Family Bonus and Growth Boon effect of all Mahayoddha Heroes will be adjusted to remain powerful, but not as insurmountable as they have been.
In order to comprehensively expand the range of Hero options at the upper tiers of PvP, many more Heroes from the following families will also receive improvements to their stats and special skills:
Adventurous Rodent
Beauty and the Beast
Beowulf
Construct
Forsaken
Institute
Magic Carpet
Outlaws of Liangshan
Ronin
Slime
Titan Hunter
Valiant Vegetable
Wild Cat
That’s not all! We’re also boosting Heroes in the following Costume groups:
Nidavellir Realm
Magic
Musketeer
Stylish
Super Elemental
You think we’re done now? Let’s not forget Dragons! This update also includes a retroactive boost for all released Ancient Dragons to reflect scaling power over time. Dragon Raids should also feel faster and more decisive now, because we’re adjusting the Rider Boost to balance the impact of your Hero choice with the effectiveness of Dragons’ special skills. Enjoy every second of Dragon Raid battles, where every move can be the difference between victory and defeat!
This update is all about empowering players with more options to stay competitive in PvP and to encourage creative experimentation with new tactics and skill synergies.
