Player Guide: Alchemy Lab

Welcome to an official Empires & Puzzles player guide! In this guide, we will walk you through Alchemy Lab, one of the advanced buildings available at the main base. Building Alchemy Lab is a useful resource to transmute crafting materials, battle items and ascension items. On top of that, you earn valuable Alkashards, which you can combine to receive rare items for free!

How to Build Your Alchemy Lab

Alchemy Lab is an Advanced Building where lower rarity items can be transmuted to battle, crafting, or ascension items of higher rarities. Alchemy Lab becomes available when you reach Stronghold level 23. To build Alchemy Lab, convert one of your existing buildings by tapping the building you want to convert and choosing CONVERT. Make sure to convert a building that you can spare, such as an extra Forge.

Transmutation Recipes

Upgrading the Alchemy Lab level unlocks new Transmutation Recipes. There are a total of 10 levels of Alchemy Lab and each level unlocks two recipes (except Levels 9 and 10). Once you have upgraded your Alchemy Lab level, you need to research each recipe to be able to use the transmutations. Upgrading will also enable the ability to perform multiple actions simultaneously. Please note that only one research can be in progress at once. 

Alkashards

Alkashards are a valuable by-product of transmutations. When you have collected 1000 Alkashards, you can combine them to create valuable Ascension items, Class Emblems or Battle Items for free

To use your Alkashards, go to your Alchemy Lab and tap COMBINE. You will be presented with a selection of items. Choose one of the presented items and tap COMBINE to create the selected item. Please note that the item selection will stay the same until the Alkashards have been combined.
